You will drive budgeting, forecasting, procurement, inventory, logistics, and vendor negotiations, translating data into action and owning problems from diagnosis to closure with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• CA (qualified) with MBA and 23 years post-MBA experience.
• Finance function experience plus exposure to business operations.
• Strong hands-on MIS, dashboarding, and analytics.
• Ability to build processes from scratch and drive adherence.
• High ownership with structured thinking; able to move between strategy and execution.

Responsibilities

• Drive financial planning and analysis – budgeting, forecasting, cash flow tracking, cost control
• Build and institutionalise processes and SOPs across procurement, inventory, and logistics; define metrics and review cadence
• Use operational data to identify problems like vendor delays, stock-outs, excess inventory, cost escalations; drive closure
• Continuously review and improve processes, identify leakages and margin opportunities
• Support the founder on strategic projects – new channel evaluation, pricing decisions, vendor and partner negotiations, and business reviews
• Coordinate with auditors, vendors, and partners as required
• Own the business MIS – dashboards and reporting across revenue, margins, channel P&Ls, and unit economics

Designation - Founder's Office Finance & Business Operations

Location - Mumbai (Andheri 6 Days Working)

We are looking for a high-ownership generalist to join the Founder's Office, working directly with the founder on finance and business operations. This role suits someone who is equally comfortable in a P &L and in an ops review - someone who can sift through numbers, spot what they're saying, and then go fix the underlying process. You will have visibility across the entire business and will be expected to take independent ownership of problems from diagnosis to closure. Our operations span procurement, production, warehousing, and logistics. While each of these functions has an owner, this role will build processeses and review mechanisms that keep them running smoothly, catching problems early through data, and driving them to resolution.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive financial planning and analysis - budgeting, forecasting, cash flow tracking, and cost control
• Build and institutionalise processes and SOPs across procurement, inventory, and logistics; define the metrics and review cadence that keep these functions accountable
• Use operational data to proactively identify problems - vendor delays, stock-outs, excess inventory, cost escalations, delivery failures and drive them to closure with respective function owners
• Continuously review and improve existing processes; identify leakages, margin opportunities, and inefficiencies and convert these into action
• Support the founder on strategic projects - new channel evaluation, pricing decisions, vendor and partner negotiations, and business reviews
• Coordinate with external stakeholders including auditors, vendors, and other partners as required
• Own the business MIS - build and maintain dashboards and reporting across revenue, margins, channel P &Ls, and unit economics

Required Skills & Experience

• CA (qualified) followed by an MBA from a reputed institute, with 23 years of post MBA experience
• Experience in a finance function along with exposure to managing business operations
• Strong hands-on experience with MIS, dashboarding, and business analytics
• Demonstrated ability to build processes from scratch and drive adherence across teams
• Strong first-principles problem solving and comfort working with incomplete information
• High ownership, structured thinking, and the ability to move between strategy and execution
