TaskUs in India is hiring a Finance Manager to oversee accounting operations, close processes, and cash flow management across regional entities. You will drive policy development, ensure SOX compliance, and partner with auditors in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

The role requires strong leadership, 5+ years of accounting experience, and the ability to translate financial data into actionable insights for department heads.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is required.
• More than 5 years of accounting experience.
• Strong experience with accounting software and data analytics.
• Proven ability to manage teams effectively.
• Strong presentation skills for communicating with non-finance stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Manage the monthly financial close process, ensuring costs are recorded, journal entries reviewed, accounts reconciled, and reports prepared.
• Participate in developing accounting policies and procedures and operational strategies, including process and system changes.
• Ensure compliance with internal control policies in a SOX environment.
• Collaborate with external auditors to ensure successful audit results and compliance.
• Analyze statutory accounting practices and regulations to ensure proper GAAP application.
• Monitor and forecast cash flow liquidity to support financial commitments.
• Partner with department heads to help them understand financial performance and manage spend.

Job Description

The Finance Manager will manage a set of accounting activities to ensure compliance with generally accepted accounting principles, corporate policies, and external audits and will also assist with the cash flow management of the entities within the region. The ideal candidate possesses leadership capabilities, solid operational and technical accounting background, and works proactively to drive results. This person is a self-starter, flexible, has a high level of integrity, and is action and goal-oriented in a fast-paced, team-oriented, collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage the monthly financial close process, including ensuring all costs incurred are properly recorded, reviewing journal entries, account balance reconciliations, and report preparation
• Participate in the ongoing development and establishment of accounting policies and procedures and operational strategies, including the review and implementation of process and system changes
• Ensure compliance with internal control policies in a SOX environment
• Collaborate with external auditors to ensure successful audit results and compliance
• Analyze the effect of statutory accounting practices and studies regulations and guidance to ensure correct application of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
• Monitor and forecast cash flow liquidity to ensure the business can comfortably support its financial commitments
• Partner with department heads (Sales, Marketing, HR, Product) to help them understand their financial performance and manage their spend.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field required
• More than 5 years of experience of accounting experience
• Strong experience using accounting software and data analytics
• Highly-effective team management
• Strong presentation skills with the ability to translate complex financial jargon into clear, actionable advice for non-finance stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in accounting, finance, or related field a plus
• Chartered Accountant preferred
