Job summary

Mantras2Success.com in GIFT City, Gandhinagar, seeks an experienced Finance Manager to oversee accounting, month-end closing, regulatory reporting and compliance for an IFSC-based insurance office. You will work with senior management, the international Head Office, auditors and tax advisors to ensure financial integrity.

The role requires strong IFRS/IFRS 17, Ind AS and cross-border tax expertise, with a proven ability to drive process improvements and maintain controls in a growing IFSC

Qualifications

• 8–12 years post-qualification experience.
• Mandatory Insurance/Reinsurance experience.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS/IFRS 17, Ind AS, Indian taxation and regulatory reporting.
• Experience in statutory audits, tax audits and cross-border transactions.
• Strong Excel and financial reporting skills; ERP experience preferred.
• Excellent communication, analytical and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently in a growing IFSC environment.
• MANDATORY: Prior Insurance/Reinsurance experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage accounting, month-end closing, reconciliations, financial statements and management reporting.
• Handle reinsurance accounting including premiums, claims, commissions, retrocession and investments.
• Manage IFSCA regulatory and financial reporting, including quarterly/annual returns and solvency reporting.
• Handle IFSC/SEZ compliance including MPR, APR and SERF.
• Manage statutory audit, tax audit, internal audit and group audit requirements.
• Handle direct tax compliance including income tax, MAT, advance tax, TDS and Section 80LA.
• Manage transfer pricing compliance, including Form 3CEB and related documentation.
• Manage GST compliance including GST returns, GSTR-9/9C, ITC reconciliation and RCM.
• Handle cross-border tax documentation including Form 15CA, Form 15CB, Form 10F, TRC and No-PE declarations.
• Support banking, treasury, payments and fund management activities.
• Coordinate with IFSCA/SEZ authorities, auditors, tax consultants, bankers and international Head Office.
• Drive finance process improvements, controls and automation.
