Job summary

Maverick Power Solutions is seeking a Finance Manager to oversee day-to-day accounting, taxation and compliance. The role focuses on accurate financial records, timely statutory filings and robust MIS reporting.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years in Accounting & Finance, proficiency in Tally and MS Excel, and a strong grasp of Indian tax laws. This position reports to the Finance Department and requires adherence to deadlines.

Qualifications

• B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance) or CA Inter preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Accounting & Finance.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and financial reporting.
• Good understanding of Indian accounting standards and tax laws.
• Strong analytical, organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end accounting operations in Tally.
• Prepare and finalize balance sheets, P&L statements and other financial reports.
• Handle GST compliance, including monthly/quarterly returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B), reconciliation and annual returns.
• Calculate, deduct and deposit TDS; file TDS returns and issue certificates on time.
• Maintain ledgers, bank reconciliations and vendor/customer accounts.
• Monitor cash flow, budgets and expense control.
• Coordinate with auditors and tax consultants during audits and assessments.
• Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
• Provide timely MIS reports to management for decision-making.
