Position Summary
The Finance Manager will beresponsible for end-to-end financial management of the organization, includingaccounting, financial planning, statutory and regulatory compliances, taxation,audits, and support to management in strategic and operational decision-making.The role requires a qualified Chartered Accountant with strong hands-onexperience in multi-entity, multi-location operations and exposure tomanufacturing, services, and international trade.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage complete booksof accounts for the company and its branches.
- Ensure accurate and timelymonthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Consolidation of accounts acrossmultiple business verticals and locations.
- Maintain robust internal controlsand accounting processes.
- Monitor cost structures, margins,and profitability across business lines.
2. Statutory, Regulatory & Tax Compliance
Ensure compliance with allstatutory requirements, including:
Income Tax Act
GST (including multi-stateregistrations)
FEMA regulations (imports,exports, foreign remittances)
Customs
Timely filing of GST returns,income tax returns, TDS/TCS, ROC filings, and other statutory returns.
Liaison with statutoryauthorities, auditors, tax consultants, banks, and regulatory bodies.
- Coordinate and manage statutoryaudits, tax audits, internal audits, and cost audits (if applicable).
- Address audit observations andimplement corrective actions.
- Identify financial, compliance,and operational risks and recommend mitigation measures.
4. Treasury, Banking & Cash Flow Management
- Manage cash flows, workingcapital, and fund utilization.
- Handle banking relationships,including credit facilities, LC/BG, packing credit, and export finance.
- Oversee forex transactions,hedging strategies, and exchange risk management.
- Ensure timely collections, vendorpayments, and reconciliation of accounts.
5. Budgeting, Forecasting & MIS
- Prepare budgets, periodicforecasts, and variance analysis.
- Develop and present MIS reportsto the MD and senior management.
- Provide actionable insights onfinancial performance, cost optimization, and growth opportunities.
6. Import–Export & International Trade Finance
- Manage accounting and compliancerelated to imports and exports.
- Ensure proper documentation forcustoms, DGFT, and FEMA compliance.
- Coordinate with logisticspartners, CHA, banks, and export incentive authorities.
- Track export incentives, dutydrawbacks, and related claims.
7. Business Support & Strategic Advisory
- Partner with business heads tosupport pricing, contracts, and commercial negotiations.
- Evaluate financial viability ofnew projects, investments, and expansions.
- Support mergers, acquisitions,joint ventures, or strategic alliances if required.
- Assist in system improvements,ERP implementation, and process automation.
