Job summary

India Y-Not Design And Mfg seeks a Manager - Finance to lead end-to-end financial operations from Bengaluru. You will partner with the Business Owner to strengthen reporting, controls, and ERP effectiveness, driving automation and process improvements.

You will manage a 35-member finance team, ensure compliance, and coordinate audits while delivering insightful MIS, P&L, and cash flow reporting. Manufacturing domain experience is valued.

Qualifications

• MBA (Finance), CMA or ICWA qualification.
• 6-8 years of finance experience with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
• Manufacturing or e-commerce experience preferred.
• Strong ERP experience with hands-on Odoo Finance/Accounting (≥2 years).
• Experience with Odoo implementations, upgrades, configuration, testing, and multi-company environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead month-end and year-end close, reconciliations, and reporting accuracy.
• Oversee AP, AR, payroll, banking, TDS, and accounting operations.
• Own Odoo Finance administration, including chart of accounts, taxes, journals, cost centers, and master data.

Manager - Finance

Role Overview

The Manager - Finance will lead the end-to-end finance function, balancing strategic oversight with hands-on execution. The role partners with the Business Owner to strengthen reporting, controls, compliance, ERP effectiveness, and finance automation.

Key Responsibilities

• Financial Reporting & MIS
  Manage month-end and year-end close, reconciliations, and reporting accuracy.
  Prepare monthly MIS, P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow reports.
  Track project and entity-level profitability.
  Deliver variance analysis against budgets and forecasts.
• Accounts, Controls & Compliance
  Oversee AP, AR, payroll, banking, TDS, and accounting operations.
  Coordinate audits, tax compliance, and statutory filings.
  Maintain internal controls, SOPs, and approval frameworks.
• ERP (Odoo) & Process Improvement
  Own Odoo Finance administration, including chart of accounts, taxes, journals, cost centres, and master data.
  Ensure seamless Sales, Purchase, Inventory, and Accounting integration.
  Manage reconciliations, reporting, dashboards, system enhancements, and upgrades.
  Drive process standardization, documentation, and automation.
  Collaborate with implementation partners and external advisors.
• Team Leadership
  Lead and develop a finance team of 35 members.
  Establish knowledge-sharing practices and performance KPIs.
  Serve as the primary liaison with external advisors.

Required Qualifications & Skills

Education

MBA (Finance), CMA, or ICWA.

Experience

6 - 8 years of finance experience, including 3+ years in a managerial role.
Manufacturing or e-commerce experience preferred.
Strong ERP experience, including at least 2 years of hands-on Odoo Finance/Accounting exposure.
Experience with Odoo implementations, upgrades, configuration, testing, and multi-company environments.

Technical Skills

Strong knowledge of Ind AS and US GAAP.
Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills.
Experience with Odoo reporting, data management, and finance automation tools.
Exposure to AI-enabled finance workflows is an advantage.
