Job summary

Michael Page is seeking a senior finance leader for a fast-growing healthcare technology company in Gurugram, India. You will build and lead the finance function, implementing scalable processes, controls, and governance to support rapid growth and fundraising.

You will own financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, treasury, and MIS; manage working capital and liaise with founders, investors, auditors, and regulators while mentoring a high-performing team.

Qualifications

• Chartered Accountant (CA) preferred; other finance qualifications considered.
• 10–18 years progressive finance leadership experience.
• Experience in startups/high-growth, fintech, healthcare or technology sectors.
• Strong proficiency in financial reporting, controllership, FP&A, budgeting and MIS.
• Experience coordinating with auditors, tax consultants and regulatory bodies.
• Proven ability to build, scale and lead finance teams from the ground up.

Job Description

• Lead and build the finance function, creating scalable processes and systems for future growth.
• Own financial reporting, monthly MIS, budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting.
• Drive working capital optimisation, receivables management, and collections performance.
• Develop and implement strong financial controls, governance frameworks, and compliance processes.
• Partner with business and operations teams to analyse unit economics, margins, and profitability metrics.
• Manage cash flow planning, treasury operations, and liquidity requirements.
• Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, regulatory bodies, and other external stakeholders.
• Support fundraising initiatives, investor reporting, board presentations, and strategic decision-making while building and mentoring a high-performing finance team.

The Successful Applicant

• Experience: Approximately 10-18 years of progressive finance leadership experience.
• Qualification: Chartered Accountant (CA) preferred; other relevant finance qualifications will be considered.
• Core Expertise: Financial reporting, controllership, FP&A, budgeting, forecasting, MIS, cash flow management, and treasury.
• Collections Expertise: Proven experience managing receivables, collections, and working capital cycles.
• Industry Background: Exposure to startup environments, high-growth businesses, fintech, healthcare, technology, or similar sectors is preferred.
• Stakeholder Management: Experience working closely with founders, leadership teams, investors, auditors, and external advisors.
• Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to build, scale, and lead finance teams from the ground up.
• Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in advanced Excel, financial modelling, ERP/accounting systems, MIS reporting tools, and data-driven decision-making.
• Key Traits: Strategic thinker, commercially astute, analytical, hands-on, and capable of operating in a fast-paced scaling environment.
