Job summary

LIPTON Teas and Infusions in Bengaluru is seeking a Finance IT Assistant Manager to partner with Supply Chain Finance and FP&A, overseeing SAP Controlling architecture and consolidation topics to align IT services with finance needs.

Ideal candidate has hands-on SAP CO/S/4HANA expertise, strong vendor and stakeholder management, and experience with end-to-end SAP Controlling implementations. Exposure to AI/Automation is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in finance or CA required.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in SAP Controlling design/configuration with 2 end-to-end implementations.
• Strong knowledge in S/4HANA Controlling (Cost Object Controlling, Product Costing, Actual Costing, COPA).
• Excellent vendor and stakeholder management with communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead SAP Controlling architecture (Product Costing/Actual Costing, COPA, consolidation).
• Gather requirements for finance solution developments and ensure delivery of changes.
• Build relationships with finance vendors, process leads, and key stakeholders.

About the role

We are looking for an IT SME who can provide IT business partnering for our Supply Chain Finance and Financial Planning and Analysis business functions. You will be responsible for managing the IT solutions and services related to SAP CO and Consolidation topics such as SAP Controlling (Supply Chain Finance and Financial Planning and Analysis). You will also be responsible for vendor management and stakeholder management, ensuring the alignment of IT and business objectives and the delivery of high‑quality IT products and services.

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for the overall architecture in SAP Controlling (Product Costing/Actual Costing, CCA and COPA being the focus areas), Internal/Management reporting and consolidation items.
• Gather business requirements for finance solution developments and ensure the delivery of subsequent changes.
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with key finance solution vendor contacts, finance process leads and other key finance team members.
• Support the delivery, operation, and regular upgrade of finance solutions, including SAP S/4HANA Finance, ensuring it remains aligned to the current and future business needs.
• Effectively communicate changes, upgrades, and enhancements to stakeholders, ensuring smooth transitions and user adoption.
• Ensure that the Finance IT development and application management services are delivered in accordance with all contractual SLAs and business expectations.
• Support regular Finance IT performance management meetings with key business stakeholders to drive performance improvements within the IT team and software vendors.
• Maintain a view of future solution functionality and aligned technologies that would enhance, simplify, or delight experience for our business stakeholders.
• Work as solution architect and SME to ensure right solutions are proposed and implemented aligning with industry best practices.
• Exposure to AI/Automation and SAP certifications are desirable and will be considered an advantage.

What are we looking for?

Skills & Experiences

• Bachelor's/master's degree in finance or a qualified Chartered Accountant.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in designing and configuring SAP Controlling (Supply Chain Finance and Financial Planning and Analysis) solutions with a background in SAP consulting and at least 2 end-to-end implementations in SAP Controlling.
• Strong knowledge and experience in SAP S/4HANA Controlling topics, such as Cost Object Controlling, Product Costing, Actual Costing and COPA
• Good understanding of the functional integration aspects with other SAP modules like MM, SD, PP, PM, PS.
• Excellent vendor management and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and build trust.
• Problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve IT issues.
• Team player, with the ability to work collaboratively and constructively with others.
