Job summary

Deloitte & Touche GmbH Wirtschaftsprüfungsgesellschaft seeks a senior SAP CO/Controlling lead to drive global SAP S/4HANA Finance transformations for enterprise clients. You will bring deep SAP CO expertise, architect scalable solutions, and guide complex replacement programs across multiple geographies.

You will lead cross-functional teams, support pre-sales efforts, and mentor senior consultants while delivering standardized delivery assets and best practices.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of SAP experience with SAP CO/Controlling and S/4HANA Finance.
• Expert in leading large-scale SAP S/4HANA implementations and global rollouts.
• Strong client engagement, governance, and strategic advisory skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead SAP CO/Controlling transformation programs across global clients.
• Own the SAP CO solution architecture and ensure scalable, integrated solutions.
• Drive template design, fit-to-standard workshops, localization, testing and cutover.
• Provide expertise across CO areas including Cost Center, Profit Center, Internal Orders and more.
• Lead executive workshops, roadmap discussions, and post-go-live stabilization.

• Lead large-scaleSAP S/4HANA Finance and Controlling transformation programsacross global clients and ensure successful end-to-end delivery.
• Serve as a seniorSAP CO subject matter expert and functional leader, providing strategic direction and guidance on complex Controlling requirements.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams comprising SAP functional consultants, solution architects, technical teams, and business stakeholders across global implementations.
• Own theSAP CO solution architectureand ensure that solutions are scalable, standardized, integrated, and aligned with SAP S/4HANA best practices.
• Provide expertise across key SAP CO areas, includingCost Center Accounting, Profit Center Accounting, Internal Orders, Product Costing, Profitability Analysis, Material Ledger, Allocations, Settlement, Planning, and Period-End Closing.
• Ensure effective integration of SAP CO withSAP FI, MM, SD, PP, PS, and other enterprise applications.
• Drive global template design, fit-to-standard workshops, localization, testing, cutover, deployment, and post-go-live stabilization activities.
• Ensure adherence toSAP S/4HANA architecture principles, SAP Activate methodology, clean-core standards, and industry best practices.
• Manage program delivery by overseeing scope, timelines, quality, risks, dependencies, resources, and overall delivery performance.
• Act as the senior escalation point for complexSAP Finance and Controlling functional, architectural, and business-process issues.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with senior client stakeholders, includingCFOs, Finance Controllers, CIOs, and business leadership teams.
• Act as a trusted advisor to clients by understanding their business challenges and defining effective SAP Finance and Controlling transformation strategies.
• Lead executive-level workshops, solution discussions, design reviews, steering committee meetings, and transformation roadmap discussions.
• Supportpre-sales and business development activities, including RFP/RFI responses, proposals, solution design, effort estimation, presentations, and client demonstrations.
• Identify opportunities for account growth and contribute to developing newSAP Finance and Controlling solutions, offerings, accelerators, and methodologies.
• Contribute to SAP Finance practice growth by establishing delivery standards, reusable assets, frameworks, and industry best practices.
• Mentor and develop senior SAP CO consultants, functional leads, and solution architects while building high-performing global teams.
• 15+ years of overallSAP experience, with extensive experience in SAP CO/Controlling and SAP S/4HANA Finance.
• Strong experience in leadinglarge-scale SAP S/4HANA implementations, global rollouts, and Finance transformation programs.
• Deep functional expertise acrossSAP CO, Product Costing, CO-PA, Cost Center Accounting, Profit Center Accounting, Internal Orders, and Material Ledger.
• Strong understanding ofSAP FI-CO integrationand integration with MM, SD, PP, PS, and other SAP modules.
• Strong knowledge ofSAP S/4HANA Finance architecture, Universal Journal (ACDOCA), and Material Ledger.
• Hands-on experience withSAP Activate, Fit-to-Standard, Global Template, and Clean Coreapproaches.
• Proven experience insolution architecture, program governance, delivery management, and stakeholder management.
• Demonstrated ability to lead large, geographically distributed and multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong experience inclient engagement, executive communication, consulting, and strategic advisory.
• Proven experience inSAP pre-sales, RFP/RFI responses, solutioning, estimation, proposal development, and business development.
• Strong problem-solving, decision-making, negotiation, and presentation skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience withSAP Central Finance, SAP Group Reporting, SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), and SAP Fioriis preferred.
• Experience with SAP Finance transformation across global organizations and multiple geographies is highly desirable.
• Industry experience inManufacturing, Retail, Consumer Products, Life Sciences, Energy, or Financial Serviceswould be an advantage.
• SAP S/4HANA Finance certification would be an added advantage.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in finance, Accounting, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related disciplineis preferred.
