Job summary

Plastics For Change invites applications for a Finance / Accounts Intern to assist the finance team with records, processing transactions, and statutory compliance. The role covers GST/TDS, audit support, and exposure to accounting operations in a social enterprise context.

You will gain hands-on experience with GST/TDS filings, year-end data for audits, and improve filing and documentation practices while working with Tally / Zoho Books or ERP systems.

Qualifications

• Pursuing or recently completed degree in Commerce/Accounting.
• Finance or related field preferred (B.Com, M.Com, MBA Finance).
• Experience with GST/TDS compliance is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain general ledger and financial records.
• Process accounts payable and receivable entries.
• Assist in bank and vendor/customer reconciliations.

Job Description The Finance / Accounts Intern will support the finance team in maintaining financial records,processing transactions, and ensuring compliance with statutory requirements. This internship offers hands-on exposure to accounting operations, financial reporting, taxation (GST/TDS), and audit processes in a fast-growing social enterprise.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Assist in maintaining general ledger and financial records.
• Support processing of accounts payable and receivable entries.
• Help with bank reconciliation and vendor/customer reconciliation.

Compliance & Documentation

• Support GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance documentation.
• Organize and maintain financial records for audit purposes.
• Assist in preparing data required for internal and external audits.

System & Process Support

• Work on accounting software (Tally / Zoho Books or ERP systems).
• Help improve documentation and filing processes.
• Provide administrative support to the finance team as required.

Requirements

• Pursuing or recently completed Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Commerce, Accounting.
• Finance, or related field (B.Com, M.Com, MBA Finance preferred).
