Job summary

Spectrum Talent Management is seeking a strategic and results-driven Head of Finance to lead the Finance & Accounts function within a Global Capability Centre. Responsibilities

• Lead the overall Finance & Accounts function including R2R, P2P, O2C, fixed assets, intercompany, and reporting across entities and business units.
• Define and execute the finance strategy and operating model for the GCC in alignment with group objectives and service expectations.
• Own the financial close and reporting calendar (month-, quarter-, year-end) and deliver timely, accurate statements and management reporting.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS/Ind AS, statutory and tax requirements including GST, TDS, and transfer pricing in coordination with Tax and Legal teams.
• Establish and maintain robust internal controls (SOX/IFC), drive testing/remediation, and liaise with auditors.
• Partner with CFO, FP&A, Treasury, Tax, and business heads on budgeting, forecasting, working capital, cash-flow optimization, and financial decision-making.
• Oversee service delivery governance: define SLAs/KPIs, run performance reviews, and drive continuous improvement in quality and cost efficiency.
• Lead finance transformation initiatives including standardization, automation (RPA/AI), ERP/SAP enhancements, and digital reporting.
• Manage transitions and onboarding of new processes/entities/geographies into GCC with due diligence and knowledge transfer.
• Build and develop a high-performing finance organization and drive talent strategy, performance management, and engagement.
• Own the function’s budget and cost structure, track productivity and cost-to-serve, and drive savings.

About the Role:

We are looking for a strategic and results-driven Head of Finance to lead the Finance & Accounts function within a Global Capability Centre (GCC) / Shared Services environment of a leading Indian conglomerate. The role carries end-to-end ownership of Record to Report, Procure to Pay, Order to Cash, treasury operations support, financial controls, and statutory compliance, and requires strong business partnering, people leadership, and the ability to drive finance transformation, governance, and operational excellence at scale.

Key Responsibilities:

• 1. Lead the overall Finance & Accounts function including Record to Report (R2R), Accounts Payable (P2P), Accounts Receivable (O2C), fixed assets, intercompany, and reporting, ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant delivery across all entities and business units.
• 2. Define and execute the finance strategy and operating model for the GCC in alignment with the group's business objectives, growth plans, and service expectations.
• 3. Own the financial close and reporting calendar (month-end, quarter-end, year-end), ensuring timely and accurate financial statements, MIS, and management reporting for group leadership.
• 4. Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards (IFRS/Ind AS), the Companies Act, and Indian statutory and tax requirements including GST, TDS, and transfer pricing, in coordination with Tax and Legal teams.
• 5. Establish and maintain a robust internal financial controls framework (including SOX/IFC), drive control testing and remediation, and lead interactions with statutory, internal, and tax auditors.
• 6. Partner with the CFO, FP&A, Treasury, Tax, and business heads on budgeting, forecasting, working-capital management, cash-flow optimization, and financial decision-making.
• 7. Own service delivery governance: define SLAs and KPIs, run performance reviews and service forums with client entities, and ensure continuous improvement in quality, turnaround time, and cost efficiency.
• 8. Lead finance transformation initiatives including process standardization, automation (RPA, AI, workflow tools), ERP/SAP enhancements, and digital reporting to improve efficiency and scalability.
• 9. Lead transitions and onboarding of new processes, entities, and geographies into the GCC, including due diligence, knowledge transfer, stabilization, and scale-up.
• 10. Build, lead, and develop a high-performing finance organization including AVPs, Senior Managers, and Managers; drive talent strategy, succession planning, performance management, and employee engagement.
• 11. Own the finance function's budget and cost structure, track productivity and cost-to-serve, and drive value-creating initiatives and savings.

Identify and manage financial, operational, and compliance risks, and represent the finance function to senior leadership, auditors, regulators, and external stakeholders
