Job summary

NorthBound Advisors is seeking a Finance Executive to support our finance team in managing end-to-end accounting, compliance, and financial reporting across multiple clients. The role offers hands-on exposure to financial operations and statutory compliance.

The candidate should bring extensive finance experience, strong detail-orientation, and the ability to work across AP/AR, payroll, audits, and MIS preparations. This is an on-site position in Chennai, India.

Qualifications

• 35+ years of experience in finance.
• Hands-on exposure to accounting, compliance and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Manage AP/AR, fixed assets, loans and interest calculations.
• Prepare bank reconciliation statements timely.
• File GST and TDS returns within statutory deadlines.
• Process payroll and ensure payroll compliance.
• Ensure payments are authorized per policies.
• Support budgets, forecasts and working capital plans.
• Assist with analytical reports and MIS.
• Maintain updated chart of accounts and financial records.
• Handle contract renewals and terminations.

Job Description Job Title: Finance Executive Experience: Relevant 35 Years of Experience in Finance

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Finance Executive to support our finance team in managing end-to-end accounting, compliance, and financial reporting activities. This role offers hands‑on exposure to financial operations, statutory compliance, and strategic finance functions across multiple clients.

Responsibilities

• Accounting of AP, AR, Fixed assets, loans & interest calculations
• Always maintain fully reconciled AP, ARs and loan accounts
• Prepare timely Bank Reconciliation Statements
• Prepare timely and accurate GST returns, TDS returns, Softex etc. and file them within the statutory deadlines
• Prepare timely and accurate payroll
• Ensure PT, PF and all other payroll related compliances are met
• Ensure all payments are fully authorized and as per company and regulatory policies and requirements.
• Understand financial policies and processes, authority matrix and follow them strictly.
• Help the Finance Manager in timely and accurate preparation of analytical reports, MIS.
• Prepare audit and tax audit schedules
• Help the Finance Manager in preparation of budgets, forecasts and plans for working capital management
• Maintain excellent relationships with clients databases.
• Ensuring timely and accurate contract renewals and terminations.
• Execute month-end book closure activities, ensuring accuracy and timely completion
• Maintain and update the chart of accounts in line with business and accounting requirements
