Job summary

VerSe Innovation in Bengaluru is seeking an accounting professional to manage end-to-end accounting operations, including General Ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and fixed assets.

You will lead month-end close, perform reconciliations, and prepare schedules for the balance sheet, while supporting statutory and internal audits.

This role requires CA Inter or CA Articleship with B.Com and 2–4 years of post-articleship experience, plus strong Excel skills and ERP experience.

Qualifications

• CA Inter or CA Articleship completed with B.Com.
• 2–4 years of corporate accounting experience post-articleship.
• ERP systems experience and strong MS Excel skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end accounting operations, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable/Receivable, and Fixed Assets.
• Lead the month-end closing process, including ledger reviews, reconciliations, and preparing schedules for the Balance Sheet.
• Assist the Corporate Controller with statutory and internal audits.
• Ensure ledger accuracy and support the controllership function through audits and financial closings.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Education: B.Com and CA Inter, or candidates who have completed a CA Articleship.
• Experience: 2 to 4 years of proven experience in a corporate accounting role post-articleship.
• Core Competencies:
• Hands-on experience with ERP systems.
• Demonstrated expertise in controllership functions and financial reporting.
• Technical Skills: Excellent proficiency in MS Office, especially MS Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, formulas, etc.).
• Strong focus, detail-oriented approach, and solid foundational training from a CA articleship.
