Job summary

TP is seeking a General Finance Manager to oversee day-to-day financial activities, ensure regulatory compliance, and manage financial reporting and budgeting processes. The role involves forecasting cash flow, evaluating investments, and advising leadership on financial matters.

Responsibilities include coordinating taxation, insurance, accounts payable/receivable, inventory control, and cost management, as well as presenting findings to top executives and ensuring timely regulatory filings.

• Controlling its financial resources and ensuring that all financial transactions, systems and procedures comply with regulations, accounting principles, and standards
• Financial analysis and reporting, taxation, insurance, credit control, accounts payable and receivable, inventory and costs control, and budgeting and forecasting
• Analyzing the organization's revenues, liabilities, credit conditions, and other financial indicators to forecast its short, medium, and long-term cash flow position
• Evaluating and recommending investments and other financial instruments to meet cash flow needs
• Advising management on financial matters and the impact of laws and regulations on the organization
• Providing expertise and advice to managers to help them develop budgets, understand financial reports, and manage their financial responsibilities
• Presenting findings and recommendations to top executives; preparing financial reports that may include auditor and financial analyst reports, profit and loss, balance sheets, and regulatory reports and filings
• Ensuring all tax returns, declarations, and other required reports are submitted accurately and on time
• Selecting and managing relationships with consultants and advisors to ensure the satisfactory standards of service
• Expert with superior knowledge and experience within a specific area of expertise. Contributes and recommends operational strategies and plans with direct impact on the organization. Serves as a coach and mentor on the area internally. Typically has sub-functional responsibility within the area of expertise.
• Ensures the implementation of short to medium term activities within the function in line with the country, regional or global strategy. Develops policies, processes & standards that support the implementation of short to medium term tactical direction. Leads a team of Specialists often with several hierarchical levels.
