Responsibilities

  • Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes.
  • Pass journal entries and ensure proper accounting in line with Ind AS / IFRS / company policies.
  • Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Ensure accuracy of general ledger and supporting schedules.
  • Inter Company Reconciliations.
  • Support preparation and filing of GST returns, TDS returns.
  • Income tax data and schedules.
  • Ensure compliance with Companies Act, GST, and other statutory regulations.
  • Coordinate with auditors for statutory and tax audits.
  • Preparation of Financial Statement as per IND-AS.
  • Assist in statutory, internal, and tax audits.
  • Provide required schedules, explanations, and documentation to auditors.
  • Track and support closure of audit observations.
  • Monitor vendor payments and customer collections.
  • Ensure proper accounting of invoices, provisions, and accruals.
  • Reconcile vendor and customer balances.
  • Maintain fixed asset register and compute depreciation.
  • Track asset additions, disposals, and capitalization.
  • Ensure adherence to internal control policies and procedures.
  • Support implementation and documentation of controls (ICFR / SOX, if applicable).
  • Identify and flag control weaknesses or process gaps.
  • Assist in preparing monthly MIS reports and variance analysis.
  • Provide data support for budgeting and forecasting exercises.
  • Generate reports for internal stakeholders as required.
  • Identify opportunities for process optimization and automation.
  • Ensure accurate documentation of processes and SOPs.
  • Support ERP/system-related enhancements.

Job description

Key Responsibilities
1. Financial Accounting & Close
  • Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes.
  • Pass journal entries and ensure proper accounting in line with Ind AS / IFRS / company policies.
