The Corporate Institute in Pune is seeking a detail-oriented Finance Controller to manage month-end closing, GST compliance, SAP-based financial operations, and reporting for a promoter-driven manufacturing company.

The ideal candidate will be a qualified CA or CMA with hands-on SAP FICO experience, strong GST knowledge, and the ability to coordinate with multiple departments for timely financial reporting.

Qualifications

• Qualified CA or CMA.
• 2-3 years of relevant experience in finance and accounting, preferably in manufacturing.
• Hands-on SAP experience, preferably SAP FICO.
• Strong knowledge of GST, GST reconciliations, and statutory compliance.
• Good understanding of month-end closing and financial reporting.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a promoter-driven organization.
• Willingness to travel as per business requirements.

Responsibilities

• Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing activities.
• Handle GST compliance, including GST returns, reconciliations, and input tax credit verification.
• Work on SAP for accounting, financial reporting, and transaction processing.
• Ensure accurate maintenance of books of accounts, general ledger, and balance sheet schedules.
• Perform bank, vendor, customer, and intercompany reconciliations.
• Support statutory audits, internal audits, and tax assessments.
• Monitor accounts payable, accounts receivable, and working capital.
• Prepare financial statements, MIS reports, and management dashboards.
• Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, taxation, and statutory requirements.
• Coordinate with internal departments and management for timely financial reporting.
