Job summary

Oben Electric Vehicles in Bengaluru seeks an experienced Finance Controller to oversee financial reporting, plant finance, cost control, and statutory compliance in a fast-growing manufacturing environment.

You will lead budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and business partnering with operations to improve profitability, manage working capital, and drive ERP-based automation with SAP as a preferred platform, while mentoring the finance team.

Responsibilities

• Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial closing activities.
• Prepare and review financial statements, MIS reports, and management dashboards.
• Ensure compliance with Ind AS, Companies Act, GST, Income Tax, and other statutory regulations.
• Manage plant finance, inventory valuation, standard costing, product costing, and manufacturing cost analysis.
• Drive budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial planning in collaboration with business stakeholders.
• Strengthen internal financial controls and ensure compliance with audit requirements.
• Coordinate with statutory auditors, internal auditors, and regulatory authorities.
• Monitor working capital, cash flow, receivables, payables, and inventory performance.
• Support Capex evaluation, investment analysis, and business case preparation.
• Partner with operations, supply chain, procurement, and manufacturing teams to improve profitability and operational efficiency.
• Lead automation and process improvement initiatives using ERP systems (SAP preferred).
• Mentor and guide the finance team while supporting strategic business decisions.
