  • Strong understanding of Indian accounting standards, taxation, and corporate finance.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee end-to-end accounting operations and financial reporting.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Ensure accurate bookkeeping and maintenance of financial records.
  • Monitor financial performance and present MIS reports to management.
  • Analyse financial data and provide actionable insights.
  • Lead annual budgeting and periodic forecasting exercises.
  • Monitor budget utilization and variance analysis.
  • Support strategic financial planning and growth initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, Income Tax, Companies Act, and other regulations.
  • Coordinate with auditors, bankers, consultants, and regulators.
  • Establish and strengthen internal controls and financial governance processes.
  • Manage statutory, internal, and tax audits.
  • Monitor cash flow and working capital requirements.
  • Manage banking relationships and credit facilities.
  • Optimize receivables, payables, and inventory-related processes.
  • Lead and mentor the finance and accounts team.
  • Drive automation and process improvements.
  • Develop financial policies and SOPs to improve efficiency.

Job description

Key Responsibilities:
1. Financial Management & Reporting:
  • Manage end-to-end accounting operations and financial reporting.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Ensure accurate bookkeeping and maintenance of financial records.
  • Monitor financial performance and present MIS reports to management.
  • Analyse financial data and provide actionable insights.
2. Budgeting & Planning:
  • Lead annual budgeting and periodic forecasting exercises.
  • Monitor budget utilization and variance analysis.
  • Support strategic financial planning and growth initiatives.
3. Compliance & Control:
  • Ensure compliance with statutory requirements including GST, TDS, Income Tax, Companies Act, and other applicable regulations.
  • Coordinate with auditors, bankers, consultants, and regulatory authorities.
  • Establish and strengthen internal controls and financial governance processes.
  • Manage statutory, internal, and tax audits.
4. Cash Flow & Treasury Management:
  • Monitor cash flow and working capital requirements.
  • Manage banking relationships and credit facilities.
  • Optimize receivables, payables, and inventory-related financial processes.
5. Team & Process Management:
  • Lead and mentor the finance and accounts team.
  • Drive automation and process improvements.
  • Develop financial policies and SOPs to improve efficiency.
Qualifications:
  • CA (Chartered Accountant) preferred.
  • CMA or MBA (Finance) may also be considered.

Experience:
  • 3 – 8 years of relevant experience in Finance, Accounts, and Controlling.
  • Experience in manufacturing, technology, engineering, or industrial sectors preferred.
  • Experience managing audits, banking relationships, and compliance functions.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Strong financial analysis and reporting capabilities.
  • Proficiency in Tally, ERP systems, and Advanced Excel.
  • Knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax, and statutory compliance.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • High attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced growth environment.
