Job summary

Apex Group is seeking a dynamic Finance Controller - Assistant Vice President for its Pune Baner location. You will manage day-to-day accounting, month-end close, and ensure audit-ready financials while strengthening internal controls in a fast-growing environment.

Key responsibilities include overseeing AP/AR, payroll coordination, cash flow monitoring, and regulatory reporting under IFRS/US GAAP. The role requires CA/CPA/ACCA with 5–7 years of relevant experience and strong Excel and ERP

Qualifications

• Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA), CPA or ACCA with strong accounting/finance background.
• 5–7 years of progressive accounting, finance controllership, financial reporting and compliance experience.
• Strong understanding of IFRS and/or Ind AS and financial reporting standards; audits, taxation and regulatory reporting experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage month-end close, reconciliations, general ledger accuracy and financial reporting.
• Oversee AP/AR, payroll coordination, cash flow monitoring and working capital management.
• Ensure IFRS/US GAAP and local statutory compliance; coordinate audit readiness.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets and management reports for decision making.
• Lead or support tax compliance, VAT/GST filings and regulatory reporting.
• Identify automation opportunities and support ERP upgrades and finance transformation.
