And we offer you the freedom to be a positive disrupter and turn big ideas into bold, industry-changing realities.For our business, for clients, and for youJob Duties and Responsibilities:• Serve as subject matter expert on Workday Financial Accounting Functional Area including but not limited to Ledger Accounts, Cost Centres, Allocations, Taxes, Account Posting Rules and Consolidations.• Configure, test, validate and implement Business Process changes in Workday.• Maintain master data values in Workday.• Participate in scheduled and ad hoc training to improve policy and process acumen.• Support ongoing process improvement and automation effort.• Assess impact on Workday Financial Accounting Functional area based on new releases and recommend changes.• Evaluate releases and functionality to identify opportunities to improve and optimize the use of Procurement Workday.• Proactively initiate, develop, and maintain effective working relationships with team members.• Apply technical knowledge to determine solutions and solve complex problems.•Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:• The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of Workday Financials experience and a demonstrated understanding of Workday configurations.• Understanding of financial applications (i.e., General Ledger, Consolidation and Business Intelligence systems).• The ability to manage multiple high-priority assignments simultaneously while meeting deadlines and quality standards.• Must possess strong organizational, interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills with both technical and end users.• Ability to own and drive efforts to standardize, optimize, and simplify processes and technical solutions.• Previous functional experience, including finance operations, accounting, financial reporting and financial data management is highly desired.• Strong analytical and Excel skills• Strong problem-solving skills.• Ability to work independently and mentoring junior staff members.• Positive by nature and a great team player.Disclaimer: Unsolicited CVs sent to Apex (Talent Acquisition Team or Hiring Managers) by recruitment agencies will not be accepted for this position.
