Job summary

UBS is seeking a Master Data Analyst in Pune to lead the design, governance, and improvement of Finance master data processes. You will support SAP MDG implementations and ensure data quality across the organization.

You will collaborate with finance and technology teams to design master data solutions, govern data quality, and align requirements with industry best practices, enabling a streamlined financial data ecosystem.

Qualifications

• University degree or equivalent qualification such as CA, CFA, or MBA in finance.
• Experience with SAP products within the Financial Services industry.
• Strong understanding of financial accounting, general ledger processes, SAP MDG, and master data management principles.
• Experience in process design, governance frameworks, and data quality management.
• Ability to create detailed documentation, user stories, and solution designs.

You will join the Finance Change agile delivery team within the General Ledger and Consolidation crew in the Control capability stream. The Finance Change & Technology organization is driving a major transformation to SAP S/4HANA Finance over the coming years, delivering innovative and future-ready Finance capabilities. The team is responsible for the end-to-end Finance general ledger and consolidation landscape, including accounting processes, controls, and governance. You'll work on globally standardized, AI-enabled financial solutions and have the opportunity to help shape the future of Finance technology within a leading global financial institution using an agile delivery model.

Your Skills And Experience

• university degree or equivalent qualification such as CA, CFA, or MBA, with proven experience in Finance or Banking
• experience working with SAP products within the Financial Services industry
• strong understanding of financial accounting, general ledger processes, SAP MDG, and master data management principles
• experience in process design, governance frameworks, and data quality management
• familiarity with product lifecycle management concepts and practices
• ability to create detailed documentation, user stories, and solution designs
• excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively across business and technology teams
• familiarity with testing methodologies, agile delivery practices, and change management processes, with an interest in applying AI responsibly to improve workflows and business outcomes
