Job summary

Karma CPA is seeking an experienced Finance Automation Consultant to support the team remotely on a part-time basis. The consultant will work 2–3 hours per day to help automate accounting and finance processes using modern tools, self-hosted solutions, and Python.

Key responsibilities include analyzing workflows, implementing automation, and optimizing processes. Ideal candidates will have strong knowledge of finance, automation tools, and Python scripting. Experience in ERP integrations is preferred.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in Finance Automation or related fields.
• Hands-on experience in finance process automation.
• Experience with ERP or accounting software integrations.

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Finance Automation Consultant to support our team on a part-time, work-from-home basis. The ideal candidate will consult with us for 2–3 hours per day (or as needed) to help automate accounting and finance processes using modern tools, self-hosted solutions, and Python.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze existing accounting and finance workflows.
• Suggest and implement automation for:
  • Invoice Processing
  • Bank Reconciliation
  • Expense Management
  • Data Entry & Reporting
• Build and optimize workflows using automation tools and Python.
• Integrate accounting software with third-party applications via APIs.
• Guide the team in selecting the best automation solutions.
• Troubleshoot automation issues and provide technical consultation.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of Accounting & Finance processes.
• Experience with finance automation tools.
• Python scripting for automation.
• API integrations and workflow automation.
• Experience with Excel Automation, Google Sheets, or Power BI is an advantage.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.

Experience
