Job summary

Flipkart Group in Bengaluru is seeking a results-driven Finance Transformation professional to drive process improvement, automation, and operational efficiency within finance operations. You will work closely with Finance, Product and Technology teams to identify automation opportunities, map current-state processes, and implement scalable solutions from ideation to delivery.

The ideal candidate has CA or MBA in Finance, 36 years of relevant experience in Finance Transformation or Process

Qualifications

• Chartered Accountant (CA) or MBA, preferably in Finance or a related discipline.
• 36 years of relevant experience in Finance Transformation, Finance Process Excellence, Business Transformation, or Process Automation.
• Hands-on experience in driving finance transformation initiatives, particularly automation of manual tasks.
• Strong understanding of finance processes and their underlying workflows.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams: Finance, Product, Technology, or Business Ops.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to structure ambiguous problems.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and execution skills.
• Proficiency in Excel and data analysis; familiarity with ERP/finance tech solutions is an advantage.

The ideal candidate will have strong process understanding, structured problem-solving skills, and experience in executing transformation initiatives from identifying opportunities to implementation and closure.

Key Responsibilities

• Finance Process Transformation: Identify, assess, and drive opportunities to simplify, standardize, and automate finance processes and operational activities.
• Process Improvement & Automation: Understand existing finance workflows at a granular level, identify manual and repetitive tasks, and develop solutions to improve efficiency, accuracy, and scalability.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with Finance, Product, and Technology teams to translate business requirements into automation opportunities and drive implementation.
• Project & Execution Management: Break down ambiguous business problems into structured action plans, define milestones, track progress, manage dependencies, and ensure timely closure of initiatives.
• Stakeholder Management: Engage with stakeholders across functions to understand business challenges, align on priorities, communicate progress, and drive decision-making.
• Requirement Gathering: Document current-state processes, identify gaps and improvement areas, define business requirements, and support the development and deployment of automation solutions.
• Performance Monitoring: Establish relevant metrics to measure process efficiency, automation benefits, turnaround time, and overall business impact.
• Continuous Improvement: Evaluate existing processes and emerging technology solutions to identify opportunities for further optimization and transformation.
