Job summary

Kyndryl is seeking a Finance Application Lead to direct end‑to‑end AMS for finance platforms, including ERP, Coupa, OneStream and related applications. You will oversee service ownership, governance and stakeholder alignment to ensure stable, compliant operations.

You will collaborate with business, product, and technology teams to prioritise work, drive improvements, and optimise processes across a multi‑platform Digital Finance landscape.

Qualifications

• Experience leading end‑to‑end AMS for Digital Finance applications across ERP and procurement tools.
• Ability to translate business needs into delivery priorities and oversee releases and production readiness.
• Proven track record in governance, risk, and service management with multi‑platform oversight.

Responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end operations across Digital Finance applications ensuring SLA/KPI targets.
• Coordinate ERP and procurement tool delivery including testing, releases and upgrades.
• Interface with business stakeholders, Product Owners and leadership on priorities and risks.
• Drive automation, shift‑left and continuous improvement across the finance tech stack.
• Ensure production readiness, incident management and knowledge sharing across teams.

The Role

Finance Application lead / The Head of Function (HoF) – Finance Applications is responsible for leading the end‑to‑end delivery and management of Application Management Services (AMS) across finance platforms, including ERP and adjacent systems such as Coupa, OneStream, and other finance and procurement applications.

What you will do:

• This is a delivery‑focused leadership role requiring a strong understanding of finance and procurement business processes, application services, and service management, rather than deep technical expertise in any single platform.
• The HoF is accountable for service stability, delivery quality, governance, stakeholder alignment, SLA performance, risk management, and continuous improvement across a multi‑platform Digital Finance landscape.
• The role oversees the support, development, enhancement, and ongoing operation of applications and services, ensuring that incidents, service requests, problems, changes, releases, defects, and enhancements are effectively managed throughout their lifecycle.
• This includes ensuring appropriate solution design, testing, documentation, change control, production readiness, and operational support.
• The HoF drives end‑to‑end service ownership and delivery discipline, ensuring effective ticket and service hygiene, timely resolution of issues, root‑cause analysis, knowledge management, and adherence to agreed service levels and governance processes.
• The role also drives opportunities for automation, shift‑left, process optimisation, service improvement, and operational efficiency, while working closely with business, product, technical, and service management stakeholders to communicate priorities, risks, dependencies, progress, and outcomes.

Required Skills and Experience:

• AMS Delivery & Service Ownership - Lead end‑to‑end operations across Digital Finance applications, ensuring service stability, SLA/KPI achievement, contractual compliance, and effective incident, problem, change and release management.
• Finance Domain & Solution Delivery - Provide cross‑platform leadership across ERP such as Maconomy, SAP, procurement tools like Ariba, Coupa and EPM applications such as OneStream, translating business needs into delivery priorities and overseeing enhancements, testing, releases and production readiness.
• Stakeholder & Team Leadership - Lead cross‑functional AMS teams and act as a key interface with business stakeholders, Product Owners and leadership, managing priorities, service reviews, risks and escalations.
• Governance, Risk & Compliance - Drive strong governance across service performance, ticket quality, backlog, controls, audit readiness, application dependencies and delivery risks.
• Continuous Improvement & Ecosystem Management - Drive automation, shift‑left, knowledge management, standardisation and process optimisation while coordinating effectively with internal teams, technology partners and SaaS vendors.
