Job summary

Crossing Infotech is offering a Finance and Accounts Intern position for a remote internship in India. The role involves day-to-day accounting in Tally or similar software, GST invoicing, and preparing financial reports in Excel and Google Sheets. The internship lasts 1 to 3 months and pays a monthly stipend of INR 14,500 to INR 16,000.

Freshers and students are welcome. Work is remote from anywhere in India, with mentorship from the finance team and exposure to live projects.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of accounting concepts (debit, credit, journal entries, ledgers, trial balance).
• Basic GST knowledge, invoicing and tax terms.
• Familiarity with Tally or any accounting software.
• Basic knowledge of Excel (formulas, VLOOKUP, pivot tables).
• Good attention to detail and numerical skills.
• Good written and spoken English communication.

Responsibilities

• Maintain day-to-day accounting entries, vouchers and ledgers using Tally or similar accounting software.
• Prepare GST invoices, track GST input and output and help prepare data for GST returns.
• Process vendor bills, customer invoices, payments and receipts and keep records up to date.
• Reconcile bank statements, vendor accounts and customer accounts and report differences.
• Track expenses, receivables and payables and help prepare monthly financial summaries.
• Prepare accounting and finance reports in Excel and Google Sheets.
• Check entries for errors and maintain accuracy in books of accounts.
• Work with the team to understand requirements and deliver tasks on time.
