We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Finance & Accounts Executive to manage our cross-border tax compliance, corporate accounting, and financial planning operations. This role focuses heavily on ensuring flawless compliance with Indian and UAE tax frameworks, while steering financial forecasting, budgeting, and performance analytics for our business units.
Role & responsibilities
Tax Compliance & Cross-Border Strategy
- Filings & Compliance: Ensure full and timely tax compliance and reporting, including VAT, GST, TDS, and Corporate Tax for both Indian and UAE entities.
- Advisory Coordination: Act as the point of contact for external tax advisors, updating internal processes dynamically as regulatory changes occur.
- Tax Optimization: Plan and execute lawful, tax-efficient strategies to optimize overall corporate liabilities.
Financial Governance & Audit Control
- Transactional Auditing: Review and verify invoicing processes, accounts receivables, and vendor payments to guarantee absolute data accuracy.
- Audit Management: Lead internal and external audits from start to finish, keeping all operations compliant with statutory regulations.
FP&A, Budgeting & Reporting
- Cash Flow & Budgeting: Manage routine corporate budgeting, financial forecasting, and active cash flow tracking.
- Financial Statements: Prepare and present regular financial statements along with clear variance reports to trace budget versus actual metrics.
- Data Analytics & Dashboards: Design and maintain functional financial reports and tracking dashboards for different business units.
- Strategic Insights: Evaluate financial data for corporate profitability, performance tracking, and cost optimization to advise executive leadership.
Preferred candidate profile
- Education: CA, CFA, or MBA in Finance is strictly mandatory.
- Experience: 48 years of hands-on experience in core finance management and tax compliance. Prior experience working with mid-sized companies is highly preferred.
- Taxation Knowledge: Strong working knowledge of Indian and UAE tax environments (GST, VAT, Corporate Tax), alongside a fundamental understanding of US and UK tax regulations.
