A rapidly growing accounting firm in Mumbai is seeking a Senior Accounts Officer responsible for managing client escalations, end-to-end accounting, and staff training. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance and 3+ years of experience. Strong accounting principles knowledge and effective communication skills are essential. Familiarity with QuickBooks and experience in US Accounting from the QSR industry are preferred.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of progressively responsible experience in accounting.

• Thorough understanding of Finance domain and relevant financial concepts.
• Strong written and oral interpersonal communication; ability to interact with stakeholders.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage deadlines; Mumbai location preferred.
• Preferable: US QSR accounting experience.

The company is an “accounting firm of the future,” using Robotic Process Automation and Lean Six Sigma principles to improve quality, streamline processes, and increase productivity. The focus is on providing timely, accurate, and meaningful accounting to franchisees and franchisors, with a specialty in the U.S. Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) industry.

Position Summary

We are seeking a Senior Accounts Officer to handle client escalations, manage end‑to‑end accounting for clients, train staff, and undertake other duties as assigned. The role involves gaining detailed knowledge of Indevia’s systems (QuickBooks, R365, RPA, Zoho, Profitkeeper, etc.) and leading ad‑hoc projects related to process streamlining. The candidate will develop and maintain data visualizations to supplement current reporting for Superiors and Senior Operations Managers.

Candidate Profile

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance with 3+ years of progressively responsible experience and a strong interest in accounting concepts.
• Knowledge of accounting principles and practices, analysis and reporting of financial data.
• Thorough understanding of the Finance domain, GL Processing, Accounting, Accounts Payable/Receivable, P/L, Balance sheet, and other relevant financial concepts.
• Strong written and oral interpersonal communication skills with the ability to build and maintain productive working relationships and negotiate with a range of internal and external stakeholders.
• Demonstrate effective organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Preferable: Experience in US Accounting from the QSR Industry.
• Location: Candidates from Mumbai ONLY.
