Job summary

Godrej & Boyce (G&B) is seeking a Field Service Engineer to travel to client sites in Tamil Nadu to calibrate, inspect, and repair equipment within the product group, addressing urgent breakdowns.

You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance, train operators on standard operating procedures, track spare parts, document visits in MS Excel/Word, and ensure strict adherence to safety and site regulations.

Qualifications

• Field Execution & Troubleshooting: Travel to client sites to calibrate, inspect, and repair equipment within the specific product group, handling dynamic site variables and urgent breakdowns.
• Preventive & Corrective Maintenance: Execute scheduled service contracts, perform root-cause analysis on failures, and replace defective parts using appropriate diagnostic tools.
• On-Site Client Training: Guide customer operators on standard operating procedures, routine safety checks, and basic operational troubleshooting.
• Parts & Inventory Tracking: Maintain accurate records of spare parts consumption, returned defective units, and field tool kits.
• Documentation & Reporting: Prepare daily service visit reports, track spare parts usage, and update customer equipment history using MS Excel and MS Word.
• Safety & Compliance: Strictly adhere to field safety protocols, PPE usage, and customer site-specific safety regulations at all times.
