Job summary

TeamLease is seeking a Field Service Engineer for Oil & Gas sector across Barmer, Sanchore, Jalandhar, Faridkot, Dehradun, Roorkee and other locations. Freshers with ITI or Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics or Instrumentation are encouraged to apply.

The role focuses on maintenance, installation and troubleshooting of fuel equipment, requiring own bike and flexibility for shifts. Training and safety compliance are emphasized.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety, quality, and environmental procedures.

This is a Field Service Engineer Oil & Gas role, mainly suited for freshers with ITI or Diploma qualifications in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, or Instrumentation.

What youll actually do

• Visit petrol pumps/retail outstations for equipment maintenance and repairs.

3. Mechanical basics: pumps, motors, bearings, lubrication, preventive maintenance.
4. Troubleshooting: how you systematically identify the cause of a machine fault.
5. Safety: PPE, electrical safety, fire safety, work permits, and basic hazardous-area awareness.
6. Computer skills: Excel, email, writing a simple service report.
7. Customer handling: how you would communicate when equipment is down and the customer is waiting.
