Job summary

Hero MotoCorp, headquartered in New Delhi, seeks a Field Quality & Reliability Engineer (EV) in Jaipur to lead market issue resolution and improve robustness with a First Time Right approach. You will guide cross-functional teams to address issues and ensure timely delivery across vehicle platforms.

You will work with CATIA/PLM/APIs for component design, participate in design reviews, and drive DFMEA knowledge to uphold quality standards across R&D and manufacturing processes.

Qualifications

• BE / B Tech – Mech./Automotive required.
• FMEA knowledge essential.
• Proficiency in MS Office & MS Project expected.
• Strong leadership, analytical, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage market issues with time-bound actions per severity.
• Participate in design reviews for new model activity.
• Monitor/update DVP linked to model maturity to reduce cycle time.

Field Quality & Reliablity Engineer (EV)

A purpose driven role for you

The candidate will be responsible for Market issue resolution and keep focus on meeting the target time line, have good level of Vehicle Level knowledge and can work with COC’s (Chassis, EDD, Electrical and Body components). He/she will play a crucial role in driving to achieve New Product Design Quality-robustness and reliability with a First Time Right approach by leading CFT members to focus on Market issue resolution.
This role demands a strong understanding of automotive processes, Component Design (Software usage like Catia / PLM / Apis, etc.), and in-depth knowledge of DFMEA.

A Day in the life

• ~Management of Market Issues with time bound as per the severity.
• ~Managing / Participation in Design reviews New Model activity.
• ~Monitoring / update DVP linked to Model Maturity based Reliability & cycle time reduction
