Job summary

Heartfulness Institute is seeking professionals to lead end-to-end Forests by Heartfulness plantation projects across the state. You will oversee site surveys, land preparation, irrigation setup, sapling logistics and post-plantation care while managing 2-3 projects simultaneously.

The role requires travel to plantation sites, working across multiple base locations, and staying at sites as needed. A background in forestry or related fields is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; forestry/agriculture/engineering backgrounds are a plus.
• 2–5 years of plantation work or civil engineering experience.
• Fluency in English and Hindi; knowledge of the local language is essential.

Base Location

• Ratlam or Satna (MP) - 2 Positions
• Ahmedabad or any city (GJ) - 2 Positions
• Jaipur or any city (RJ) - 2 Positions

Job Overview

Responsible for end-to-end execution of Forests by Heartfulness plantation projects across the state.

This requires skills pertaining to understanding the plantation design and executing it end-to-end including site survey, land preparation, irrigation setup, sapling logistics and planting, nutrient management, and post plantation care.

It is a state-level role and candidates will need to manage 2-3 simultaneous projects within the state. Will involve traveling and staying at plantation sites.

Qualifications

Genuine interest in working with nature, afforestation, enhancing biodiversity.

Education level: Any Bachelor s degree. A qualification in Forestry, Agriculture, Civil Engg. will be a plus.

Experience: Minimum 2-5 years of experience in plantation work or civil Engg. Any prior experience in forestry, ecosystem restoration, integrated watershed management will be a plus.

Specific skills: Reasonable fluency in English Hindi both verbal written, MS Office skills, must speak local language of the state.

States where this position is open: Telangana, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan. More states will open up in 2025.

Remuneration

The gross compensation for the position is attractive and compares favorably with the remuneration paid by progressive non-profits in the sector. The offer made to the selected candidate shall be commensurate with qualifications, experience, and salary history.

All travel and accommodation (away from base location) will be reimbursed.
