The Net Zero Schools Initiative, undertaken in partnership with the Government of Andhra Pradesh, aims to transform schools into sustainable and climate-resilient campuses through integrated interventions in renewable energy, water conservation, waste management, and ecological restoration.
The project follows a centralized planning and monitoring framework with decentralized district-level execution, enabling scalability, consistency, and effective on-ground implementation across schools.
By combining infrastructure upgrades with capacity building, behavioural change initiatives, and data-driven monitoring systems, the project seeks to establish a replicable model for sustainable school transformation that can be scaled across the state and beyond.
The District Program Coordinator will be responsible for owning end-to-end execution of the program at the district level, ensuring delivery in line with timelines, quality standards, and defined outcomes.
The role will act as the primary interface with district administration, while driving coordination across cluster teams, field staff, and stakeholders to ensure seamless implementation.
