Job summary

Siemens Mobility in Pune invites applications for a DCX Team Lead to steer field experience management across rolling stock fleets. We are looking for DCX Team Lead

You’ll make a difference by

  • Perform reliability, availability, maintenance, and diagnostic analysis of rolling stock fleets.
  • Analyze field and operational data to identify trends, failures, and improvement opportunities.
  • Conduct weak points, root cause, and performance analyses to improve fleet reliability and availability.
  • Ensure data quality through regular validation, plausibility checks, and data audits.
  • Prepare customer, supplier, management, and project performance reports.
  • Support the development, implementation, and monitoring of corrective and preventive action plans.
  • Drive continuous improvement of products, processes, methodologies, and operational procedures.
  • Coordinate and steer DCX activities to ensure efficient and high-quality project execution.
  • Act as the interface between headquarters, depots, engineering teams, suppliers, customers, and project stakeholders.
  • Facilitate lessons learned workshops and knowledge-sharing activities across projects.
  • Monitor fleet performance KPIs and provide recommendations for reliability growth.
  • Train and support users on CMS/CMMS systems, data collection processes, and analytical tools.
  • Serve as the central point of contact for technical and operational matters, ensuring effective cross-functional collaboration and communication.
  • Support strategic, tactical, and operational product monitoring across multiple fleets and platforms.

Desired Skills:

  • Graduate Engineer (Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Systems, or related discipline) with 15 years of experience, including 10~12 years in Rolling Stock.
  • Knowledge of railway standards, regulations, and RAMS principles (EN 50126 / IEC 62278) is preferred.
  • Strong leadership, coaching, stakeholder management, and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Process-oriented mindset with experience in performance monitoring, data analytics, and continuous improvement.
  • Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools.
  • Hands-on experience with Cormap, RS CMS, SAP, Spotfire, Power BI, FRACAS, and 8D problem-solving.
  • Strong analytical, communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
  • Experience in rail vehicle projects and Siemens Mobility processes is an advantage.
  • Agile, result-oriented, and capable of working under pressure in a multicultural matrix organization.
  • Excellent written and spoken English; German language skills are an added advantage.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required.
