Job summary

Siemens Mobility in Pune is seeking a DCX Team Lead to act as the analytics interface among headquarters, depots, projects, and engineering. You will drive data-driven reporting, quality checks, and continuous improvement initiatives across SMO RS and related teams.

The role emphasizes leadership, project planning, and cross-functional coordination, with opportunities to influence reliability, availability, and product monitoring. A strong background in rail processes and tools is preferred.

Qualifications

• Technical understanding of SMO RS C processes.
• Experience in rail vehicles is an advantage.
• Experience in analysing and optimizing processes and systems to improve efficiency, quality, and operational performance.
• Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies for planning, execution, and control.
• Commitment to continuous learning to stay up to date with emerging technologies and trends.

Responsibilities

• Prepare reports for projects, including customer and supplier reports.
• Provide methodical support in creating and following up action plans.
• Perform performance and diagnostic analyses of the vehicles.
• Conduct regular data quality and plausibility checks of field data.
• Carry out weak point analyses and drive continuous improvement of processes, products and procedures.
• Serve as the contact at headquarters regarding optimization, reliability and availability.
• Analyze field data, share lessons learned with stakeholders, and report findings.
• Monitor products both cross-platform and strategically; support data-driven decisions.
• Train data entry staff in CMS/CMMS and analysis tools.
• Ensure high-quality field data through regular data quality reviews and plausibility checks.

In this role, the DCX Team Lead acts as the analytical interface between headquarters, depots, projects, engineering, and the various stakeholders across SMO RS, ensuring continuous information exchange, knowledge transfer, and cross-functional collaboration.

• Preparation of reports for the project incl. customer and supplier reports
• Methodical support in the creation and follow-up of action plans
• Performance and diagnostic analyses of the vehicles
• Regular data quality checks and plausibility checks of field data
• Carrying out weak point analyses
• Continuous improvement of processes, products and procedures
• Contact person to the site at headquarters regarding the optimization or reliability and availability
• Analysis of field data, lessons learned with stakeholders, reporting
• Active, operative and strategic product monitoring (cross-platform)
• Training of data entry staff in CMS/CMMS and analysis tools
• Ensure high-quality field data through regular data quality reviews and plausibility checks.
• Drive continuous improvement of products, processes, methodologies, and operational procedures.
• Coordinate and steer DCX activities to ensure efficient and high-quality project execution.
• Serve as the analytical interface between headquarters, depots, projects, engineering, and the wider SMO RS organization.
