Job summary

Career Path HR Solution is seeking an L1 Field Engineer - AV/VC/CCTV to install, configure, and maintain CCTV surveillance and AV/VC setups at client locations across India. The role requires hands-on experience with CCTV, AV/VC equipment, basic networking, and cabling, with willingness to travel.

You will perform on-site support for meetings and events, handle preventive maintenance, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, and coordinate with vendors for installations and repairs.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Bachelors in Electronics, Electrical, IT or related field.
• Certifications in CCTV/AV-VC/security systems are a plus.
• Hands-on CCTV installation and troubleshooting experience required.

Responsibilities

• Install and configure CCTV cameras, DVR/NVR systems and IP cameras.
• Install, configure, and support AV/VC systems including projectors, displays, and conferencing gear.
• Perform preventive maintenance and system health checks.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, connectivity, and system issues.
• Coordinate with vendors/contractors for installation and equipment replacement.
• Maintain installation records, system diagrams and inventory.
• Escalate complex issues to L2/vendor support as needed.

Job Summary

We are looking for an L1 Field Engineer - AV/VC/CCTV to handle installation, maintenance, monitoring, and troubleshooting of CCTV surveillance and audio-visual systems at client locations. The candidate should have hands‑on technical knowledge of CCTV, AV/VC equipment, basic networking, and system cabling.

Key Responsibilities

• Install and configure CCTV cameras, DVR/NVR systems, IP cameras, and cabling.


• Install, configure, and support AV/VC systems including projectors, displays, microphones, speakers, and conferencing equipment.


• Perform preventive maintenance and routine system health checks.


• Troubleshoot hardware, software, connectivity, and system‑related issues.


• Support integration of CCTV systems with access control and alarm systems.


• Configure and troubleshoot basic IP networking, addressing, and cabling.


• Provide on‑site technical support for meetings, conferences, and events.


• Coordinate with vendors and contractors for installation, repairs, and equipment replacement.


• Maintain service reports, installation records, system diagrams, and equipment inventory.


• Escalate complex technical issues to L2/vendor support when required.

Required Skills

• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in CCTV, AV/VC, or Field Engineering.


• Hands‑on experience with CCTV installation and troubleshooting.


• Knowledge of DVR/NVR, IP cameras, surveillance systems, and structured cabling.


• Basic knowledge of networking, TCP/IP, IP addressing, and LAN connectivity.


• Exposure to AV/VC equipment such as Crestron, Extron, Biamp, Poly, Cisco, or Logitech will be preferred.


• Good troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.


• Good communication and client‑handling skills.


• Willingness to travel and work at client locations across India.

Qualification

• Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in Electronics, Electrical, IT, or a related field.


• Relevant certifications in CCTV, AV/VC, Crestron, Extron, or security systems will be an advantage.

Candidate Profile

• Strong hands‑on technical and troubleshooting skills.


• Comfortable working in field/client‑facing environments.


• Good coordination and communication abilities.
