Job summary

The Hans Foundation (THF) invites applications for a dynamic Project Manager to lead grassroots livelihood initiatives in Uttarakhand and other locations, aligned with THF's health, education and livelihood goals. You will oversee field operations and coordinate with block coordinators to ensure timely execution of plans.

The role requires hands-on field work, strong data collection and reporting skills, and a proactive approach to community mobilization, advocacy, and stakeholder engagement.

Qualifications

• Experience in livelihood projects or community development.

Responsibilities

• Field visits to implement plans and schemes at the field level as directed by the project manager and supervisors.
• Assist and follow-up of all project activities as instructed by the block coordinator.
• Regular field visits to monitor day-to-day activities.
• Assist in data collection from the field.
• Maintain assets, data, and records at block offices as instructed.
• Support village-level workers in advocacy, resource mobilization, monitoring, and evaluation.
• Participate in local programs such as Kisan Mela and exhibitions.
• Support resource and community mobilization for field activities.
• Be familiar with local dialects, area, and village/block level resources.
• Coordinate community mobilization for field activities.

JOB PURPOSE

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Project Manager having a reach livelihood projects experience to join our team and drive the Project grassroots work of HLP in Uttarakhand and other locations while supporting the project.

Job Description

• Field visits for the proper execution of different plans and schemes at the field level as instructed by the project manager of the subject matter specialist and block coordinator.

• Resource and community mobilization for the various activities to be conducted at the field level.
• Well acquainted with the local dialect, area, and resources available at the village and block level.
• Community mobilization for all the activities to be done at the field.
