Job summary

The Hans Foundation (THF) invites applications for two contractual Field Mobilizer positions based in Almora and Tehri Garhwal, Uttarakhand. The role involves field visits, data collection, and supporting village-level workers under the Hans Livelihood Uttarakhand program, reporting to the Block Coordinator.

The ideal candidate is graduate or 12th pass with at least two years in community mobilization, strong communication, data management, and willingness to participate in local programs.

Qualifications

• Graduate or 12th pass with a minimum of 2 years in community mobilization or allied fields.

Responsibilities

• Field visits for proper execution of plans and schemes at field level.
• Assist and follow-up of all project activities as instructed by coordinators.
• Regular field visits to monitor day-to-day activities.

• Maintain assets, data, and records at block offices.
• Support village-level workers in advocacy, resource mobilization, monitoring, evaluation.
• Participate in local programs such as Kisan Mela and exhibitions.
• Resource and community mobilization for field activities.

Job Description

• Field visits for the proper execution of different plans and schemes at the field level as instructed by the project manager of the subject matter specialist and block coordinator.
• Assistance and follow-up of all the activities of the project as instructed by the block coordinator.
• Regular field visits to monitor the day-to-day activities on the field.
• Assist the block coordinator in the collection of data from the field.
• Maintenance of all the assets, data, and records at the block offices as instructed by the block coordinators.
• Support to the village-level workers in tasks related to advocacy, resource mobilization, monitoring, and evaluation
• Assist the participation in any local program such as Kisan Mela and exhibition
• Resource and community mobilization for the various activities to be conducted at the field level.
• Well acquainted with the local dialect, area, and resources available at the village and block level.
• Community mobilization for all the activities to be done at the field.

Qualifications and Experience

• Graduate or 12th pass with a minimum of 2 years of experience in community mobilization or allied areas.
• Experience in coordinating field activities and working with local communities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of local dialects and cultures.
• Ability to collect and manage data effectively.
• Experience in document management and record-keeping.
• Ability to support and work closely with village-level workers.
• Willingness to participate in local programs and events.
