Job summary

Quest Global is seeking a seasoned professional in Bengaluru to provide technical leadership in the Fixed Equipment and piping Integrity domain within the Oil & Gas sector. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience with both upstream and downstream assets, guiding teams to execute quality structural integrity workflows.

A strong educational background in Mechanical or Metallurgical engineering and a minimum of 15 years of relevant industry experience is essential for this role. Candidates must be skilled in communication and possess a good understanding of Risk Based Inspection methodologies among other technical competencies.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of oil gas experience in related industry (Onshore/Offshore Integrity projects).
• Knowledge of corrective and preventative maintenance strategy.
• Familiarity with codes and standards.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Provide strong technical leadership in Fixed Equipment and piping Integrity domain for Oil & Gas both upstream/downstream assets
• Provide technical solution in the area of Offshore/Onshore Asset Integrity
• Has ability to provide innovative solutions /automations/ methodologies to build a differentiation for Quest
• Drive and manage Engineers to execute structural Integrity workflows with Quality at scale
• Provide pre-sales support for new business deals and post-sales support for the new projects assigned
• Drive core team members to recruit skilled resources and train internal resources to build required competency
• Coordinate the activities between customer, sales organization and global technical teams
• Flexible to make short business trips to offshore offices & sites
• Lead, develop, nurture and manage global customer relationships and drive strategic partnering initiatives to address unique business situations and complex technology needs
• Review technical scoping, estimation, perform feasibility studies, mapping customer expectations and design solutions

Required Qualifications & Competencies

• Engineering degree in Mechanical/Metalurgical engineering
• 15+ years of oil gas experience in related industry (Onshore/Offshore Integrity projects)
• Should have sound knowledge on Oil & Gas upstream and downstream business in the following areas
• Risk Based Inspection methodologies
• Fixed equipment inspection tasks/ procedures
• Inspection Optimization
• Fitness for Service & Life extension studies
• Repair scope preparation
• Fixed Equipment damage Mechanisms of Offshore & Onshore structures
• Familiarity with codes and standards
• Knowledge of any RBI software
• Excellent verbal & written communication
• Should be able to perform risk assessments of Offshore & Onshore structures
• Should have knowledge of corrective and preventative maintenance strategy
• Good interpersonal skills and working collaboratively with the other teams
