Job summary

Capgemini, a global leader, seeks an experienced IT professional for an insurance client in India. You will design and validate business applications, liaising with IT and business teams, and help shape cost-benefit analyses.

You will collaborate across architecture, integration, and testing, support implementation, and ensure end-to-end system alignment. Requires 4–6 years' experience, a bachelor’s degree, and strong English; flexible remote/office work is offered.

Qualifications

• 4 years of experience in application development, testing, or business/system analysis.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• Strong English skills (high intermediate/advanced).

Essential Job Functions

• Providesexpertise in the design and functionality of business applications.

• Understands customers’ business processes and products and how best they can be supported by the application systems.

• Reviews and validates the detailed technical designforbusiness applications provided by the supplier to ensure alignment with business requirements.

• Performs quality review checks on project deliverables.

• Validates suppliers estimates.

• Performs impact analysis of application changes across various components, holding an end-to-end view of the system.

• Estimates Rough Order of Magnitudeforthe level of effort/cost ofnewapplication functionality

• Specifies / recommends integration and parallel testing criteria

• Supports the implementation activities, troubleshooting system environmental issues, as required.

• Acts as liaison between Business and IT, as assigned Supports users in building Business Case, including cost / benefit analysis, risk assessment, project scope, and development of a high-level plan.

• 4 years of experience in application development / testing or business / system analysis role or 2 years as an Application SME Level I / Application Operations (production support).

• High school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent, relevant experience.

• High intermediate / Advanced English skills.
