Job summary

Farmers Insurance, via its FBS unit, is seeking a senior finance leader to steer planning, forecasting, and strategic finance initiatives across multiple business units. The role profiles strongly with executive stakeholders to deliver financial insights, drive profitability, and support growth targets.

The ideal candidate brings 10+ years in Finance/FP&A, robust modeling skills, and a track record in leading finance teams within a matrixed organization.

Qualifications

10+ years in Finance, FP&A, Corporate Finance, or Strategic Finance.
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or related field.
Prior leadership experience managing finance teams (Manager, etc).
Expertise in forecasting, financial modeling, portfolio planning, and P&L management.
Proven ability to influence business decisions through data-driven financial insights.
Track record of driving growth, profitability, process optimization, or automation initiatives.

Responsibilities

Lead annual operating planning, forecasting, and budgeting processes.
Provide financial insights and recommendations to executive leaders.
Develop financial models to evaluate business performance and strategic initiatives.
Drive monthly and quarterly business reviews.
Identify business risks and opportunities through financial analysis.
Partner with business leaders to improve profitability and operational effectiveness.
Establish KPIs and performance management frameworks.

This leadership role will support the Finance organization by driving financial planning, forecasting, performance management, and strategic decision-making across multiple business units. The position will partner closely with senior business leaders to provide financial insights, improve operational efficiency, and support enterprise growth initiatives.

The role requires a balance of strategic thinking, executive stakeholder management, financial expertise, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams in a highly matrixed environment.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

10+ years of progressive experience in Finance, FP&A, Corporate Finance, or Strategic Finance.
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or related field.
Prior leadership experience managing finance teams. (Manager, etc)
Expertise in forecasting, financial modeling, portfolio planning, and P&L management.
Proven ability to influence business decisions through data-driven financial insights.
Track record of driving growth, profitability, process optimization, or automation initiatives.
Insurance industry experience preferred; banking or financial services experience also considered.
Fluent English communication skills.
