Capgemini in Pune seeks a QA professional to validate Guidewire solutions across Business Insurance initiatives. You will collaborate with product owners, business analysts, developers and Agile teams to design, execute and automate tests, ensuring Guidewire applications meet business requirements, quality standards, and release objectives.

You will perform API and interface testing, manage defects, review user stories, and support test data preparation, environment validation and deployment

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of QA experience in Agile software delivery environments.
• Experience testing Guidewire applications, preferably PolicyCenter.
• Knowledge of Property and Casualty or Business Insurance processes.
• Experience with test management and defect tracking tools.
• Experience with API testing and integration validation.
• Broad knowledge of insurance concepts, terminology, products, and business processes across relevant business areas.
• Strong verbal, written, and listening skills, with the ability to adapt technical messages for business and technical audiences.
• Excellent collaboration and team-building skills, with the ability to influence and work effectively across teams.
• Strong ownership and accountability for individual and team deliverables, including timely identification and correction of gaps.

Job Summary

This position collaborates with product owners, business analysts, developers and Agile teams to validate Guidewire solutions supporting Business Insurance transformation initiatives. The role performs functional, integration, API, regression, and automates testing activities to ensure Guidewire applications meet business requirements, quality standards, and release objectives. The position contributes to test case creation, test execution, defect management, and quality improvements while delivering sprint commitments within an Agile environment.

Essential Job Functions
