Job summary

Capgemini in India seeks a QA professional to validate Guidewire solutions within Business Insurance transformations. You will create and execute test cases, perform API and interface testing, manage defects, and review acceptance criteria to ensure quality, delivering sprint commitments in an Agile setup.

The role requires collaboration with product owners, analysts, and developers, with a focus on ensuring test coverage, functional integrity, and timely deployment validation across Guidewire

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of QA experience in Agile software delivery environments.
• Experience testing Guidewire applications, preferably PolicyCenter.
• Knowledge of Property and Casualty or Business Insurance processes.
• Experience with test management and defect tracking tools.
• Experience with API testing and integration validation.

Responsibilities

• Creates, maintains, and executes test cases, test scenarios, and test data for Guidewire PolicyCenter, JDP and integrations.
• Validates functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end business processes across Guidewire applications.
• Identifies, documents, retests, and tracks defects through resolution.
• Reviews user stories and acceptance criteria to ensure testability and quality coverage.
• Participates in sprint testing activities and supports release validation efforts.
• Performs API and interface testing using approved testing tools.
• Collaborate with developers and business analysts review defects and validate fixes.
• Supports environment validation, test data preparation, and deployment verification activities.

Special Skill Requirements
