Job summary

EY seeks a Product configurator – Business Analyst to leverage deep Life & Annuity product knowledge in the U.S. market. You will translate specifications into FAST configurator rules, build templates, and manage variants while coordinating with actuarial and product teams.

Qualifications include MBA or engineering degree and LOMA ALMI certification, with 6–9 years in related roles. FAST/Vantage/ALIP/LIFE 400 experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate with MBA or engineering degree.
• LOMA – ALMI certification mandatory.
• 6–9 years in Life & Annuity IT/Consulting/Insurance.
• Experience with FAST, Vantage, ALIP, LIFE 400 policy admin systems.

Responsibilities

• Deep knowledge of Life and annuity product filling in U.S. market.
• Configure FAST with policy norms, riders and rate structures.
• Translate product specs into FAST rules: plan definitions and eligibility.
• Create and maintain product templates and configurator rules.
• Manage version control across product variants.
• Gather requirements from actuarial and product stakeholders; perform gap analysis.

Role: Product configurator – Business Analyst

Location: Bangalore / Chennai / Coimbatore / Kochi / Kolkata / Noida / Hyderabad / Pune / Trivandrum

Roles and Responsibilities

• Deep knowledge of Life and annuity product filling in U.S. market and configuration into platforms.
• Life and Annuity product knowledge and FAST configuration. U.S. State and NAIC product compliance knowledge
• Core Configuration responsibilities: Translate product specs (policy norms, riders’ illustration) in to FAST product configurator rules – plan definitions, coverage options, rate structures, eligibility rules.
• Build and maintain product templates, rules within the configurator
• Manage version control across product variants.
• Requirement gathering across stakeholders from actuarial, products.
• Perform gap analysis between out of box FAST product capabilities and client specific product needs.

Qualification And Experience

• Qualification: Graduate with MBA or bachelor’s in engineering.
• LOMA – ALMI (must)
• Experience: 6 to 9 Years of experience working in Life and Annuity domain in IT Services, Consulting, and Insurance company.
• Have worked on Life and Annuity policy admin system like FAST, Vantage, ALIP, LIFE 400 etc.
