• Experience or interest in saree designing and contemporary fashion trends.

Responsibilities

• Develop creative and unique fashion designs for sarees, ethnic wear, and womens apparel.
• Research current fashion trends, colour palettes, fabric trends, and market preferences.
• Create design concepts, mood boards, sketches, and design illustrations.
• Select fabrics, colours, prints, embroidery patterns, and embellishments.
• Coordinate with production, tailoring, embroidery, and sourcing teams to execute designs.
• Develop new collections for festive seasons, weddings, and everyday wear.
• Assist in product development from concept to final sample approval.
• Monitor sample development and ensure designs meet quality standards.
• Maintain design files, fabric references, sample records, and product details.
• Collaborate with marketing and merchandising teams for new collection launches.
• Suggest innovative design ideas based on customer feedback and sales trends.
• Ensure timely completion of design tasks and collection development.
