Job summary

Source-Right is seeking an experienced FAE Manager in Bengaluru to lead a team of FPGA FAEs, drive demand creation, and build strong relationships with customers. The role focuses on delivering technical solutions and guiding customers through design wins with FPGA products and related tools.

The successful candidate will coordinate with engineering, sales, and supplier teams to resolve issues, while staying current with FPGA technology trends and faster time-to-market strategies.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of FPGA design experience or equivalent.
  • Experience leading a team of FAEs or design engineers and traveling to support customers.
  • Embedded design on SOC FPGA platforms (Xilinx/Altera) with Bare Metal and OS support.
  • Experience with high-speed I/O designs (PCIe, SATA, Ethernet).

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of FPGA FAEs to drive demand creation and meet KPIs.
  • Build relationships with key customer decision makers and stakeholders.
  • Provide technical support and guidance on FPGA solutions and tools.
  • Develop and deliver technical proposals with engineering and sales teams.
  • Collaborate with suppliers, engineering, and marketing to resolve customer issues.

Job description

Position: FAE Manager (EA100FT RM 4233)
Responsibilities
  • Leading a team of FPGA FAEs to drive demand creation activities.
  • Responsible for driving team to achieve the KPIs.
  • Building relationships with key decision makers of customers.
  • Familiarize with the latest technologies in FPGA and Acceleration domains like AI/ML by attending supplier training in person and via conference calls.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to customers on FPGA solutions.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve customer issues related to FPGA systems.
  • Provide in-depth technical support to customers in their selection and use of Arrow PLD lines development tools, silicon and IP products that ensure design wins for Arrow.
  • Stay updated on the latest FPGA technologies and trends.
  • Drive demand creation by maximizing Arrow content on designs; understand customer needs and leverage Arrow’s engineering and design services resources to facilitate solutions for customers. Apply technical knowledge to influence designs utilizing solution selling.
  • Be the first point of contact for customers in resolving any technical support issues while working with PLD silicon, tool and IP products, providing onsite technical support.
  • Identify key relationships amongst decision makers within suppliers and customers.
  • Work closely with Engineering & Marketing teams to resolve customer issues and product enhancements.
  • Collaborate with field and factory resources to develop and deliver technical proposals to customer project managers, engineering managers, system architects and design engineers.
  • Attend and actively participate in strategic branch meetings and QBR; develop and drive strategic technical plans by supplier line or customer solutions.
  • Partner with the sales team across pre-and post-sales activities, providing technical support and consulting to promote demand creation. Perform technical calibrations & research with sales & other Arrow departments & suppliers in support of the customer design.
  • Provide regular feedback to supplier field sales and factory experts on the needs of the customers and align with corporate goals.
Education Qualifications
  • BE/BTech/ME/MSc in Electronics and Telecommunications or equivalent
Experience
  • Min 10+ yrs of FPGA design experience.
  • Experience of Leading a team of FAE or Design engineers. Willing to travel with FAE and handhold customers on resolving tech issues.
  • Embedded design experience of working on a SOC based FPGA from Xilinx /Altera with working experience on Bare Metal and operating systems.
  • Working experience on DSP based designs either on SYSGEN of Xilinx or DSP builder of ALTERA.
  • Hands‑on experience of working high‑speed IO based designs using the transceivers and the protocols like PCIe, SATA, Ethernet etc.
  • Exposure to AI based design flow on FPGA will be advantage.
  • Working exposure on transceivers at 58 Gbps (NRZ) and 116 Gbps (PAM4) will be advantage.
  • Experience of working on Highspeed ADC /DAC interface using JESD 204B/C interface and FPGA with built‑in ADC, DAC like RFSOC of Xilinx or RF FPGA of ALTERA preferred.
Soft Skills
  • Customer Facing: candidate must be comfortable presenting technical roadmaps to CTOs and lead engineers.
  • Problem Solving: possess the ability to handle “line-down” technical crises or complex debugging sessions at a customer site.
  • Strategic Planning: working with the Arrow Sales Team to manage the “opportunity funnel”—tracking a project from initial concept to mass production.
