Delhi Paramedical & Management Institute (DPMI) invites applications for a Faculty position. You will prepare and deliver lectures online and offline, conduct practical classes, and support students while setting and marking assessments.

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of teaching or lab experience in BSc/ MSC Biochemistry or MLT, and a demonstrated ability to guide students, assess performance, and contribute to curriculum development.

Formación

• B.Sc./M.Sc. MLT with min 2 years of teaching/lab experience.
• B.Sc./M.Sc. Biochemistry/Medical Science with min 2 years’ teaching/lab experience.

Responsabilidades

• Transfer knowledge in the form of practical skills, methods and techniques to the students.
• Identify learning needs of students and define appropriate learning objectives.
• Design teaching material and deliver either across a range of modules or within a subject area.
• Ensure that content, methods of delivery and learning materials meet the defined objectives.
• Develop the skills of applying appropriate teaching approaches.
• Provide students with frequent, timely assessment and clear feedback on performance.
• Document student progress and maintain attendance, grading and outcomes records.
• Supervise students, advise on study skills and help with learning problems.
• Assess student work with defined criteria and provide constructive feedback.
• Collaborate with department to evaluate, revise and develop curriculum.

As a Faculty at DPMI, you will contribute to our students in studying Diploma/Certification/Degree Programs. You will be required to prepare and deliver lectures online & offline, practical classes and student support, as will have responsibility for setting and marking assessments and exams. The opportunity exists for a suitably experienced candidate to contribute to the delivery of associated subjects. You will be required to fulfil administrative and leadership roles associated with teaching.

Teaching and learning support

• Transfer knowledge in the form of practical skills, methods and techniques to the students.
• Identify learning needs of students and define appropriate learning objectives.
• Design teaching material and deliver either across a range of modules or within a subject area.
• Ensure that content, methods of delivery and learning materials will meet the defined learning objectives.
• Develop the skills of applying appropriate approaches to teaching.
• Challenge thinking, foster debate and develop the ability of students to engage in critical discourse and rational thinking.
• Provide students with frequent, timely assessment of and clear feedback regarding academic performance.
• Appropriately document student progress and maintain accurate records such as attendance, grading and achievement of student learning outcomes.
• Supervise the work of students, provide advice on study skills and help them with learning problems.
• Select appropriate assessment instruments and criteria, assess the work and progress of students by reference to the criteria and provide constructive feedback to students.
• Seek ways of improving performance by reflecting on teaching design and delivery and obtaining and analyzing feedback.
• Contribute to the planning, design and development of objectives and material including modules and programs.
• Support and promote the college and departmental missions centered on excellence in teaching and learning through quality instruction, curriculum enhancement, and service.
• Collaborate with department chair, faculty, and peers to evaluate, revise, and develop curriculum to cultivate the mastery of course content.

Eligibility Criteria

• B.Sc. /M. Sc. MLT with min 2 Years experience in teaching/Lab.
