Job summary

Protiviti India seeks an experienced Finance & Accounting leader to oversee end-to-end F&A operations in Pithampur. You will own month-end, quarter-end and year-end closes, review entries, prepare MIS and financial analysis, and ensure timely AP/AR activities.

The role requires strong SAP hands-on experience, solid accounting knowledge, and the ability to manage a small F&A team and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

• CA Inter or MBA (Finance) preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Finance & Accounting.
• Strong experience in F&A operations, month-end/period-end books closure and MIS reporting.
• Hands-on experience with SAP is mandatory.
• Experience in managing a small F&A team and coordinating with internal/external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the overall Finance & Accounting operations.
• Own the month-end, quarter-end and year-end books closure process.
• Review accounting entries, reconciliations, provisions, accruals and other closing activities.
• Prepare and review MIS reports, management reporting and financial analysis.
• Ensure timely completion of AP, AR, reconciliations and other accounting activities.
• Review vendor and customer balances, ageing and outstanding items.
• Monitor open items and ensure timely resolution of accounting issues.
• Support preparation of schedules and information required for audit, taxation and statutory requirements.
• Ensure adherence to accounting policies, internal controls and defined SOPs.
• Identify process gaps and drive improvements in accounting processes.
• Coordinate with business stakeholders, auditors and other finance teams.
• Review the work performed by AP/AR executives and ensure accuracy and timely completion.
• Ensure all transactions and reporting are appropriately recorded in SAP.
