About the Role

As Head of Business Intelligence, you will lead the BI and Reporting team in delivering high-quality, reliable, and accurate data across the organisation. You will be responsible for building and maintaining dashboards and reports that provide clear insights and drive smarter decision-making. You will mentor, train, and develop your team to ensure they grow into high-performing BI professionals, while fostering a culture of ownership, excellence and challenging the status quo. Beyond reporting, you will play a key role in shaping the company’s data strategy, ensuring scalability of data infrastructure, and enabling collaboration with stakeholders across all business functions.

Role Responsibilities

• Improve and maintain scalable and reliable data infrastructure and data feeds
• Own the data and ensure accuracy, quality, and integrity
• Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing BI team
• Deliver insights and reports for all stakeholders (Sales, Operations and Finance teams)
• Be responsible for the timely delivery of accurate monthly billing figures
• Translate complex data into clear, actionable recommendations
• Define KPIs and standardise reporting across the business
• Drive adoption of dashboards, tools, and self-service analytics
• Be proactive in exploring new technologies and shape the company’s data strategy

Role Requirements

• 7+ years in BI & reporting, with at least 2+ years in senior leadership
• Proven team management and mentoring skills
• Strong SQL and hands‑on BI tool experience (Looker, Tableau, Power BI, Rill or Tercept)
• Deep understanding of core business metrics with proven experience in creating dashboards
• Proven experience in data architecture and setting up new warehouses
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Familiarity with modern data stack tools (Redshift and/or BigQuery)
• Experience in Adtech is a distinct advantage, but not required
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Values of collaboration, agility, and challenging the status quo

Job Location

This is majorly a remote role, with a preference for 1-2 days monthly in‑person meet‑up with our team based in Mumbai. Preference for candidates residing/ within driving distance to Mumbai, Bangalore, or Delhi.
