Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Apparel Merchandiser specializing in knitwear garments to join our merchandising team. The ideal candidate will coordinate product development, buyer communication, and order execution for international markets. This role requires a strong blend of creativity, technical understanding, and a proactive learning attitude.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive the end-to-end product development process for knitwear—from concept to production—ensuring quality, cost, and timeline alignment.
- Serve as the primary liaison between global buyers, design teams, and production units.
- Analyze and respond to buyer feedback, seasonal trends, and market requirements.
- Develop effective sourcing strategies in collaboration with suppliers and production teams.
- Prepare and maintain product costing, BOMs, and T&A calendars.
- Monitor sampling, approvals, and quality compliance during all production stages.
- Manage communications for multiple international clients, providing timely updates on orders and shipments.
- Work closely with the technical and quality teams to resolve production issues.
- Stay updated with new knitwear technologies, yarn innovations, and sustainable materials.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Diploma in Textile Technology, Apparel Production, or related field.
- 3–6 years of hands‑on experience in Quality Assurance within the garment industry.
- In-depth knowledge of knit, woven, and woven‑blend product categories is preferred.
- Familiarity with AQL standards, quality audit procedures, and buyer compliance requirements.
- Proficiency in MS Office and quality documentation tools.
