Job summary

CSC invites a senior fund accounting professional to lead end-to-end operations for private equity funds. You will supervise period-end closes, NAV calculations, investor statements, and waterfall allocations, ensuring accuracy across multi-currency structures.

You will manage audits, tax advisors, and regulators, maintain LPAs compliance, and mentor a team of fund accountants. The role emphasizes process automation, system enhancements (Investran, Geneva), and strong stakeholder collaboration.

Qualifications

• Having 10+ years of experience into Fund Accounting.
• Strong knowledge of Private Equity fund accounting and NAV concepts
• Capital accounting and carried interest mechanics
• Proficiency in fund accounting systems and Excel
• Strong analytical, review, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple funds and deadlines
• Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills

Responsibilities

• Oversee period-end and year-end close processes for private equity funds, including NAV calculations and investor capital account statements.
• Review and approve quarterly and annual financial statements and investor reporting packages.
• Capital calls and distributions; investment acquisitions, disposals, and valuations.
• Co-investments, SPVs, blockers, and holding structures; investment & transaction oversight.
• Review transaction accounting for equity and debt instruments, complex deal structures; multi-currency investments.
• Coordinate with investment teams to validate inputs and support deal lifecycle events.
• Act as primary contact for external auditors, tax advisors, and regulators; manage annual audit cycles.
• Ensure compliance with fund LPA, side letters, and applicable accounting standards (US GAAP / IFRS / Lux GAAP).
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of fund accountants; allocate work and ensure SLA adherence.
• Participate in system implementations or enhancements (e.g., Investran, Geneva).

  • Waterfall calculations and carried interest allocations
  • Management fee and expense accruals
• Review and approve:
  • Quarterly and annual financial statements
  • Investor reporting packages
• Capital calls and distributions
• Investment acquisitions, disposals, and valuations
• Co‑investments, SPVs, blockers, and holding structures
• Investment & Transaction Oversight
  • Review transaction accounting for:
    • Equity and debt instruments
    • Complex deal structures and multi‑currency investments
  • Coordinate with investment teams to:
    • Validate transaction inputs and financial impacts
    • Support deal lifecycle events (closings, exits, restructurings
  • Act as primary point of contact for:
    • External auditors
    • Tax advisors
    • Regulatory bodies (where applicable)
  • Manage annual audit cycles and review audit deliverables
  • Ensure compliance with:
    • Fund LPA and side letters
    • Applicable accounting standards (US GAAP / IFRS / Lux GAAP, as applicable)
  • Review tax‑related information affecting fund accounting (DTA/DTL awareness, not tax filing)
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of fund accountants
  • Allocate work, perform quality reviews, and ensure adherence to SLAs
  • Support hiring, onboarding, and performance management
  • Act as a trusted point of contact for clients, GPs, and internal stakeholders
  • Drive process standardisation, automation, and efficiency initiatives
  • Review and enhance internal controls and procedures
  • Participate in system implementations or enhancements (e.g., Investran,Geneva)
